Groups will choose two communities (can be local town/city, county, company, state, etc) who are tackling the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. Your group will choose one community that they believe is properly handling the crisis and one community that you feel is improperly handling the crisis.

There are a number of issues that arise during a crisis that can dictate if a community is properly prepared to handle, your group should think outside of the box and identify what you believe is most important.  

Students will address in their paper: 

1. Community information (you should describe EACH community chosen)[~1 pg for each community]
   1. Demographics: Describe your community’s population. Who lives in your community? (Age, Race, ethnicity, population, religion, education etc)
   2. COVID Statistics: COVID-19 incidence, COVID-19 mortality. Demographics of population infected and population who has died.

   1. Discuss TWO of the “10 essential public health functions” that you believe this community is using to properly combat the COVID19 pandemic.
   2. For each topic discussed, you should have at least 2 references to support your reasoning. These references can be from local news, however, ensure that you are using accurate sources.
