Consider all of what you’ve read thus far about Much Ado About Nothing.. and then change the setting.
Maybe, instead of being in Messina, Benedick and the gang are all space pirates aboard a ship stranded among the
stars. Or, perhaps they’re all vampires, living in the darkest recessing of the Paris catacombs. Or maybe they’re all post
office workers in 2022, trying to survive a pandemic.
How would this change in setting affect ONE of the scenes from Act IlI? How would the characters be similar? How
would they be different? Ho Answer this is one of the following ways.
Option 1: A 450-500 word response re-contextualizing the characters, conflicts, and scene to fit into this new
setting you’ve created
Option 2: A creative re-imagining of the scene ie: poem, short story (2-3 pages), diary entry, etc., that captures
how the characters and conflict may change
