Here is insights on my disseration 

My research aims to study the creation of students engagements and interactions in higher education virtual learning. Since the overall structure of quantitative design lies in scientific methodology, the researcher will observe the engagements of students in a virtual learning environment, investigate the underlying theories concerning the problem under study, collect data, analyze it and make presentations (Bloomfield & Fisher, 2019). It is from this new knowledge that the researcher will use to form the hypothesis for the research (Siedlecki, 2020). A descriptive design will be appropriate for this study because there is no primary purpose examination between student engagement and virtual learning.

Since the nature of virtual learning in higher education is complicated on the emphasis of engagements and interactions between instructors and students in the learning process, descriptive research design will be used to try to describe the current phenomenon of virtual learning to give a piece of systematic information and data about the topic under study. Because the research will not begin by formulating a hypothesis, the descriptive design will enable the formulation of the hypothesis after the data has been collected since the data was analyzed; its synthesis will be the test basis for formulating the research hypothesis. Moreover, the descriptive design will facilitate an in-depth selection of the units and variables under study and their measurements.
