1. Search PECentral.com or any other lesson plan database for a lesson on any health-related topic. The quality of the lesson plan you choose does not matter, as long as it covers health content. Include the link to the lesson plan you choose, or a PDF of the lesson plan in your response.
2. Using the Characteristics of an Effective Health Curriculum, study the lesson plan you chose and try to identify at least 3-5 Characteristics that are present in the lesson. Then do one of the following….
A. If the lesson you chose seems to be of high quality and meets 3-5 Characteristics, explain which ones the lesson meets and how.
B. Of course, not all lesson plan ideas available online are good ideas. Some of them really stink. Part of learning to teach is learning to differentiate between high-quality lesson plans and junk. If the lesson plan you chose does NOT meet at least 3 Characteristics, explain what you would do to improve the lesson and ensure it integrates at least 3 Characteristics.
