I am applying to get into the NYC Teaching Fellows program and I need a 3.0 GPA but unfortunately, my GPA is 2.6. to get in, but they gave me a chance to explain any factors that may have impacted my undergraduate academic performance and GPA and also I need to tell them why I feel I will be able to succeed in a rigorous master's degree program. The required GPA statement must be 200 words or less.
I will be attaching an essay I wrote to the undergraduate college I was attending. This essay talks about why my grades were to0 law and why I wanted them to consider me getting back in college. This was written in 2012.
