In this assignment, you will undertake your own investigation of a sustainable venture or innovation. It may be a stand-alone venture or an entrepreneurial venture within a larger organisation – often referred to as an intrapreneurial venture.
You are encouraged to investigate a sustainable innovation, entrepreneurial innovation or intrapreneurial initiative.
You should draw on the evidence you collect and analyse to support the points you made in your report. You should include academic ideas and frameworks in order to structure your findings and allow you to provide a critical analysis.
You must include in-text citations and a full list of references to indicate your sources of evidence. You may use academic and business sources. In either case, ensure that you use the CTR Harvard referencing system.

Assignment structure:

Part 1: Critical Appraisal of the chosen initiative

• What is the innovation or the entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial initiative that you have studied? Why is it innovative and entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial? (350 words)
• What societal challenges is the initiative studied addressing and what are the challenges or opportunities faced as a result? (350 words)
• How does the initiative studied address sustainability and what are the challenges and opportunities faced as a result? (350 words)

Part 2: Reflection and experiential learning
• Using the steps identified in Gibb’s model (attached), reflect on what you have learnt from this project. (550 words)
