We have spent the first weeks of class exploring the creation of human identity. Discuss your identity. Keep in mind the following:
- When writing this, remember that identity is much deeper and more complicated than a description of your personality. Personality is a part of identity, but identities are structured on many additional factors. If you just describe your personality you are doing yourself an injustice.
- Explore the social aspects of your identity, not just the personal.
- What elements of your identity are most important to you?
- Has your identity changed in the past ten years in a perceptible way (other than the fact that you have aged)?
