For week 1’s discussion question you need to obtain the latest (most recent year available) financial statement of a company of your choosing. You will read through the section called ‘Management Discussion and Analysis’. This section of a financial statement can be anywhere from 3-5 pages long. They are usually very interesting. You will then write your discussion post on what you found out about this company. From what you read, state in your post if you think their plans are good plans and if they are headed in the wrong direction and that you spot a flaw in their plans, such as what will their competitors be doing. Will the price of their raw materials inccrease, etc. Your post must be about 5-6 paragraphs long (do not copy and paste anythig from the report, otherwise you will get a zero). For the finanicial statment, choose any company you want. However, please make it an interesting company and not just the same old run of the mill company, such as Amazon or Microsoft or General Motors. Think of something fun.
