Initial Post Discussion Prompts – Find a current event (2019 – 2021) that relates to the topic/s covered in the assigned reading and how it ties into the chapter. Complete at least a 500 word summary of the current event. Include: why you chose the current event, how is it relevant, what are your views on the event, how do you feel that it will affect the population as a whole?

Responses to 2 Classmates – When responding to another student’s initial post, you may either agree or disagree (politely). Be sure to state the specific point of agreement or disagreement and why. Focus on the content of the agreement or disagreement and not the person. Two sentences is generally inadequate. Aim for more than 7 sentences for your responses; at least 100 words.
**Remember this is worth 35 points and is an all or nothing activity- you either participate and get the points or you do not participate and will be deducted 35 points. To get the points you MUST answer each question and reply to the posts of AT LEAST two classmates.
