A major social trend is the aging of the population.  The huge group of citizens (labelled the Baby Boomers) born between 1946 and 1964 are beginning to reach retirement age.  If you are one of our interns who is 20 something, Baby Boomers may seem “over the hill and ready for nursing home.”  But life expectancies are increasing and the Baby Boomers have a lot of life left.  

Your assignment is to learn more about the Baby Boomers and their needs/desires as consumers.  After doing so, apply what you have learned and consider how it might affect the Marketing Mix of some of our clients.  How might our clients adjust their strategies in Product, Price, Place and Promotion to better attract the Baby Boomer.  Please make specific recommendations for each of the following clients:
