“When I was in elementary school, I recall reading A Series of Unfortunate Events, a book series about three siblings who suddenly find themselves orphaned when their parents perish in a house fire. The series goes on to uncover the truth about the fire and numerous other family secrets, but I had never heard of or read a book that followed the same storyline as this series, so it quickly became a favorite of mine! I think I started reading the series in maybe second or third grade, it began when my teacher read the first book in my class, and after that, I read the rest myself! It has since become a Netflix show, and I think there is also a movie out, but neither are as good as the books!”
