Journal Article Review Assignment

You will review the following article, Adopting a Stance: Bandura and Vygotsky on Professional Development (Eun, 2019) in the Module 3: Week 3 Learn items. Your Journal Article Review must involve critiquing and reviewing the article in relation to the application of learning theories as it relates to personal and professional development and learning in the classroom. The review must be 12 double-spaced pages and follow current APA format. A submission of less than 1 page will not receive credit. You may include other citations/references in the Journal Article Review to support your points. 

You will evaluate and critique the article. The journal article reviews must involve critiquing and applying how one can apply concepts in learning theories, such as self-efficacy, as it relates to professional development. The paper will include a title page, a reference page, and have a 2-page limit. The title page, in-text citations, and references page are NOT included in the word limit. The journal article critique consists of three parts:

Part 1Summary Paragraph;

Part 2Analysis of Authors Key Points;

Part 3Personal Application to Personal and Professional Development

When composing your reviews, practice using graduate professional writing. Do not begin with “This article is about…” Instead, open the review with a strong thesis statement and summarize the author’s main points in the first paragraph. Using third-person, state your personal reaction to the article in the final paragraph (This author agrees/disagrees or “one can see that…”).
