The concept of aligning of Information technology to the strategy of an organization is very central to this course. However, your textbook only alludes to it in Project 2 on Page 37. Even worse, the definition of this concept is something of a moving target.
Nevertheless we have to try to define this idea of “Alignment of IT and Business Strategy”.
While you are reading the Vermont Teddy Bear case in this module, can you also find (somewhere on the internet) some definitions of this concept? (Please don’t forget to include a link to what you have found a citation for it, as per the requirements for the “Participation” component in this course).
