For this discussion, you will apply the SWOT part of a SWOT analysis to a company of your choice. This could be the company where you work currently, a previous workplace, or a publicly traded company. This is an internal analysis of the company’s operations.
Remember to adopt a strategic or “big picture” perspective in your responses, relating your assessment to the company’s ability to provide value to stakeholders, achieve its mission, and remain competitive in its industry. In your posting:
- Identify the company’s core capabilities and key resources or strengths.
- Identify any areas of potential weakness.
- Describe how the core capabilities and key resources or strengths that you have identified enable this organization to succeed within their industry and support its future success.
- Describe how the weaknesses you have identified might affect the company’s success.
