Final Project — MOVIE Assignment
LIFESPAN DEVELOPMENT IN FILM Using your understanding of Lifespan Development, you will choose a film from a provided list and identify through a presentation the protagonist’s understanding of self, as well as his/her journey toward growth and development. Finally, you will present your findings to the class. Your presentation should include the following:
A brief synopsis of the film, Identify and define the lifespan development concepts present in the film (at least three). Include general developmental age, its presence, how it generally affects an individual, additional relevant information. Who are the individual(s) experiencing these concepts in the film? Describe the concepts in the concepts of film? Is this experience age-appropriate? Please include at least one developmental theory and its appropriate stage(s) presented in the film (ex. Piaget, Erikson, Kohlberg, etc.). Include a short clip (less than 3 minutes) from the film that provides an example of some of the concepts you are discussing (DO NOT use a trailer)
