New Technology

• For this assignment, you will create a presentation on a topic related to a new technology item you will create.  You will develop an idea for a new technology item ( think out of your box ). You do not have to actually be able to build it at this time.  You will then research to see if something similar exists.  If it does document what exists.

• You will use at least one online resource (as identified in TRAAP) as the basis of your presentation.

• You will then create a 8-10 slide presentation on your topic that covers the following information:
  • Title information, reference (works cited)  information
  • Describe the new idea ( thing or idea ) 
  • Explain the potential benefits to society.
  • identify money you will need to produce it.
  • Identify possible hurdles to developing , ( ex:  does the technology exist )
  • when do think this will be possible  ( if it is not possible today ) 
• Create a presentation that meets the following criteria:
• Use a theme to style the presentation
• Include at least 2 images. Images should be sized and positioned to fit nicely on the slide with text
  Include 1 chart or graph. Any type is acceptable. At least 2 data points.
  (ideas for chart could be frequency of occurrence, risk potential, effectiveness of remediation techniques, etc.)
  Add a transition effect between slides
  Include at least 1 animation effect
  Demonstrate good presentation design techniques
  • • Size all text so that it can be read easily
    • DO NOT WRITE a book on the slide, bullets to go with your speech
    • Consider shortening any text that is too long or wordy
    • Spellcheck your presentation
