1. Identify the site that  you found (give the full URL website address). Provide a 1-paragraphy review of the site, including what you found particularly interesting.

2. List some of the ways that plastic pollution is hazardous to marine organisms.

3. According to the article “Trashed”, what is the “eastern garbage patch”? How big is it? As reported in the Marine Pollution Bulletin, how many pounds of floating plastic are there in this area as compared to every pound of naturally-occuring zooplankton?

4. What surprised you the most about marine pollution as you worked through this week’s assignments? What do you think of Dr. Angelicque “Angel” White’s research?

5. What is your opinion of the problem of floating plastic trash in the ocean?
