Select a health care-related or systems policy issue you wish to explore and develop during this course based on your current practice experience. You are encouraged to select an actual policy issue that is relevant to your practice or the topic you intend for your final Scholarly Practice Project or Dissertation. The outcome will be a written policy brief and visual presentation.
Write a 1-2 page proposal identifying the health-related or systems issue, the policy you plan to develop to address this issue, and its relevance to a vulnerable population. Describe why this population is vulnerable. The proposal should include the who, what, why, how, and when of the proposed policy. Include literature to support the proposal. Please see an example of a Policy Proposal in the Documents section of the course.
