This week we explored globalization and the impact it may have on communities. Since this is also the end of the term, lets think more broadly about what globalization and community development means today. In our final discussion of the term, please choose a current event or topic that interests you (within twelve months), and tie it to the concept of globalization.
Then, consider a pro/con position, based on your thoughts about the issue and globalization. Consider the PRO/CON prompts below, but feel free to expand on this topic; however, keep in mind that youre expected to think critically and in a fair and balanced way. If you are stating facts, be sure to back those up with vetted research.
