Coming to the United States was a difficult decisionfor me because I did not speak English well. Students in Ethiopia, only learnEnglish in the English period. I always converse in Amharic. As a result, myEnglish lessons at school helped me learn basic communication skills and how toread. My country’s education system, on the other hand, is disorganized and lacksquality education. I began speaking English in my daily life after arriving inthe United States. People can try to comprehend me even if my English is notwell ordered. I can improve my reading, writing, and speaking when I start takingEnglish classes.
