The decision-making problem/situation should meet the following criteria: a. It was relevant to a clear problem that needed a solution/required satisfaction of a need. b. The problem/situation was significant for you. c. You had several alternatives to select from to solve the problem or satisfy the need. d. Personally experienced. e. You are able to trace back the decision-making process. f. Keep in mind that your decision situation should allow you to write 1500 words of the meaningful text. 2. Report Provisional Format a. Narrate the decision story: i. Background ii. Decision making problem/situation iii. Level of importance 2 iv. Decision alternatives v. Decision and its outcomes b. Detailed analysis of influences impacted on your reasoning, judgment, and decision-making process. Apply all the relevant theories and concepts studied in the course to date (December 12). c. Evaluate the decision-making process, including the decision-making model(s) used, heuristics, and choices made. d. Reflect (connect the knowledge you hopefully have gained in the RDM course to your personal experiences, perspectives, background, individual and societal implications and other. Organize your report with the help of headings and subheadings. 4 Appendix A In case you are confused about the difference between analysis, evaluation, and reflection Analyzing involves studying and understanding the data by breaking them down. This is used to obtain the factors, effects and importance of the data. This usually requires longer thought processes since the data need to be broken down for a further explanation. Evaluating is the process that determines the importance and the value of the given data. Because evaluating is a conclusive process, this is done after the data is analyzed. It is also associated with subjective thinking and therefore requires less thinking process as compared to analyzing. Evaluation Vs Reflection: Evaluation is the process of making an assessment or judgment about an experience. Reflection is the process of reflecting on your experience in order to learn from that experience or to relate to some implications.  ( the problem is leaving a narcisst relationship and how this decision change my lifestyle and moving on)
