Hello students, welcome to week eight. This week you do not have a written assignment. However, there is one DB. Therefore, I expect you to start preparing your proposal for week 9.
Next week (9), you will be asked to submit the first part of your research proposal. Please use the template provided in the BB to complete your work. Be sure to delete all instructions found in that template. Use the subheadings to guide your entries. Review and make sure you submit the correct version and not a rough draft of the proposal.
Second, you should review and gather data from your submissions in all your assignments to develop your proposal. I request you paraphrase or summarize your previous entries to make those connections work together as one cohesive research proposal. Be sure to review feedback to make those adjustments to this iteration of your submission.
Third, I request that you do not use verbatim entries (exact words from your previous work). If you decide to use any of your previous work, you can self-cite no more than five times (5) times. I am aware of the instructions asked you to cut and paste. However, this is the standard practice I am applying in this course.
Last, you are expected to use citations to support your assertions throughout the paper. Be sure to comply with the page limit (3 to 4 pages). Please do not go beyond this, as it will affect the grade.
By Day 7
Compile and submit the first part of your research proposal including the following sections in 3 to 4 pages:
• Introduction (1 paragraph)
• Problem Statement (1 paragraph)
• Research Question (1 paragraph)
• Literature Review (revision of previously submitted; 2 pages)
• Methodological Approach (2–3 paragraphs)
Make sure to use the provided template and include appropriate APA citations and a reference list.
