Instructions
Choosing a short scene from”Leaf by Niggle,” “Farmer Giles of Ham” or The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, rewrite the events and dialogue from the perspective of a secondary character: someone who exists in the scene but is not the narrator or focalizer. You are not creating a new character, but using the perspective of someone different to tell the same events in the scene. Make sure your narrative has a focus on how the change of frame shifts the knowledge of the space, the events, magic and power.
Please stay in the voice of the original text: all three texts are in third person.
Please indicate clearly what passage you’re using by citing the page numbers in your title, and rewrite the passage in 500 – 750 words.
