Rhetorical Analysis of an Argument Essay
For this assignment, you are to write an essay that analyzes
or evaluates an article. In your
analysis, you may examine the effectiveness of the author’s logic; the author’s
use of logos, ethos, and pathos; the author’s tone; the author’s use of
sources; of course, there are
other elements you may want to consider as you analyze the rhetorical
strategies within the
primary text.

• Include at least one direct quote from the primary source but no more than
three direct

• Include a Work Cited section at the end of your paper.
• Do not write in second person (e.g., you, your, imperative sentences).
