1. This session provided an overview of organizational behavior, the challenges managers face, diversity, and groups and work teams. In a two- to three-page paper (not including cover and reference pages), compare and contrast the effectiveness and efficiency of groups in terms of size, structure, and type. Choose groups you are familiar with from an organization such as church, school, volunteer, and/or work. Consider the following questions:

    • What is the best group size to work with? Why?
    • How does group structure impact the outcome of an assigned goal or objective?
    • What impact do values have on group interactions, tasks, and effectiveness? 
      • How do values influence ones participation?
      • How do you respond to situations where you are working with people in a task group whose values are significantly different from yours?

    Format your paper according to APA guidelines and provide evidence to support your responses with a minimum of two academic sources in addition to the textbook. (Newspapers and magazines do not qualify as academic sources.)
