- To whom is it addressed?
- How does the style and tone of the writing convey the intent of the writer?
- What sort of evidence and ideas does the writer use to support his/her review?
Questions to focus on in this point:
- What exactly makes this person a bad instructor?
- What are the criteria by which the writer judges them as poor?
- Do you agree with the student’s criteria? What in your view makes a good or bad professor?
