Objectives
To locate and label the continents, countries, major physical features, and important landmarks on maps. This will enable students to understand the historical significance of location and physical features on the economic, social, political, and cultural aspects of nations around the world.
After obtaining blank maps from Internet sources, (World, Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, and Australia) please label:
World: Names of continents and major physical features such as, oceans, rivers, mountains, gulfs and etc.
Continents (regions): Names of countries and major physical features
Except for the continental map, you will need two blank maps for each assignment (physical-A and political-B maps). Examples of completed student map work is available in Canvas under modules.
You need blank maps for:
World, Europe, North America, Central America, and South America, Middle East, Russia and Central Asia, Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Australian sub-region (excluding small islands).
A total of 21 maps must be labeled.

Do not use physical maps for political features.
Use a “key” system for small countries and physical features only.
