This week, we looked at the work of Preston Wadley, including his photography. Photography is a relatively new medium, only emerging in the 19th century, and it immediately changed how artists approached the formal elements. Photography had a major impact on the Impressionist movement, for example (Links to an external site.). For this week’s journal entry, use your phone to take a photograph capturing your space! This can be an object, an interior, a portrait of a person, or the view outside a window. Then, analyze your photograph using your visual analysis skills. Tell me a bit about the content of your photograph, and the visual elements you see at work within your image. Be sure to upload your image with you post!
