Create a teaching aide to educate the parents (and/or child if age appropriate) on prevention measures one can undertake to prevent a preventable injury, accident, or issue of your choice such as drowning, motor vehicle accidents, childhood obesity, or teenage suicide etc. Identify the age and target audience. Utilize the table 29-5 (p. 655) for guidance. Research the topic and provide resources to the parents and/or child if appropriate. Create a PowerPoint, use the notes section as if you were presenting this project in person.

- Describe the negative impact it has on the patient and the patient’s family.
- Educate on measures one can undertake to prevent these injuries or issue.
- Explain how you would engage your audience.
