Fundraising
Instructions: You are the owner-operator of a local amateur sports club. Your club needs annual operational funds above the revenues generated from athletes (e.g., membership, participation fees). Detail two (2) potential fundraising programs that could supplement your sport club’s operational funds. Your descriptions should include the following, and use the following as subtitles:
- Basic narrative about the fundraising activities
- Goals of each fundraising campaign
- Target time frame of fundraising programs
- Number of staff and athletes needed to operate programs and identification of their specific roles, responsibilities, and duties
- Projected earnings (quantify if possible)
- Advantages and disadvantages of each fundraising program.
Each fundraising program should be 1-2 pages in length (double spaced, Times Roman 12 point font). The entire assignment should be one document, 3-4 pages in length (not including the title and reference page).
Please include an American Psychological Association (APA) Formatted Title and Reference Page with your MS Word document submission. Cite information from at least two (2) literary sources (e.g., academic journal publications, fundraising web sites). — Suggestion – You can use the APUS Library (see "Library" tab on SPMT416 home page) in order to locate these publications. "SPORTDiscus with Full Text" can be a useful database when completing your literature search.
