For this week’s reflection assignment, you’ll be using the principles outlined at the end of the Souto-Manning & Rabadi-Raol (2018) article to analyze the NAEYC (2020) DAP Principles (https://www.naeyc.org/resources/position-statements/dap/principles) statement. 

Your Analysis should…

• Describe each of the four design principles at the end of the Souto-Manning & Rabadi-Raol (2018) article in your own words.
• Find an example from the NAEYC (DAP) Principles Statement (2020) that relate to each of the Souto-Manning & Rabadi-Raol design principles. You might find examples indicating that the authors are applying the principle in their work (or at least trying). You mignt also find examples indicating that the principle is not being followed. 
• Explain the connection between the principle and each example. In other words, don’t just provide a quote next to each principle. Explain how you see the relationship between the two. Often, we can see multiple possible ways that two ideas could be related, so we need you to explain your thinking.
