Description of the PBL exercise:
Every student should visit an industry and find out the details of the network that industry has. Every week students should submit their finding before start of each tutorial class. Group of 5 students should discuss their finding during class hours for 15 minutes. Then present for 5 minutes to all students on their group discussion.
Format of each week report for Moodle submission should include the following sections:
1.Name of the student and ID:
2.Group members details:
3.Summary of group discussion of the previous week:
4.Individual report (this various based on the topic provided in the table):
5.Tutor’s signature with date:

Tutor will explain the concept of Work Integrated Learning (WIL), the details of Moodle submission and presentation in every week class.

Assign IP addresses to all devices including port addresses
Justify your type of addressing used in your network

Assign IP addresses to all devices including port addresses

Assign IPV6 addresses to all devices including device port numbers
Topics to be covered for presentation: VPN, MPLS QoS, Static Routing Protocol
Discuss how do you integrate VPN, MPLS in your network
Discuss on what are the QoS parameters you will be using in your network
Discuss which static routing protocol you will be used and justify.
Topics to be covered for presentation: Dynamic Routing Protocol – Dijkstra algorithm
Take part of the network including minimum of 5 nodes
Assign cost of each link ranging from 2-5
Find shortest distance from one node to farthest node
Compare your group members finding
Topics to be covered for presentation: Dynamic Routing Protocol – Bellman-Ford algorithm
Take part of the network including minimum of 5 nodes
Assign cost of each link ranging from 2-5
Find shortest distance from one node to farthest node

Discuss on types of applications that can be used on your designed network
Draw table of network requirements including effect and probability
Discuss with your industry contact person and report on the feedback provided
