What in your life could become an adventure/action story if told with flourish?!

Challenge: Create an adventure/action sequence using a common life activity.

Review the ELEMENTS OF STORY in the module – and perhaps google up a few more ideas about how great stories are crafted.

Here is the assignment:

1. Consider your “story” possibilities – generate a list of possible ideas with your divergent thinking brain.
2. Re-review elements of story and note you are seeking at a minimum:
   1. Setting – that is elaborated, relevant to the story, interesting
   2. Character/s – that are interesting, distinct, specific, relevant to the story
   3. Plot – that is interesting, may have a conflict, has a logical sequence, utilizes and builds on emotion, may have a climax and resolution
   4. Theme – that is meaningful and aligns with the story
3. Write a rough draft of your story (less than a page, can be bullet points).
4. ****Translate that story into a visual – Create a Storyboard that clearly communicates the story.
