Project Phase 1: Analyzing the Industry and the Competitors Place in It

Develop a competitor template that captures the economic structure; both historical and current of the industry in which it competes as well as the focal firms place in that industry. To complete this assignment you need to consider the following (among other factors) for the development of the template: 

1- The key players in the industry, their relevant sizes and industry concentration ratios 

2- A five-forces analysis

3- The performance of the industry in revenues, profits, and shareholder value 

4- The basic economics of the industry

5- The strategies and performance of the competitor(s)

6- Industry trends, key success factors

We decided the main focus of our project will be Instacart (this is a project we will work on over the semester).   For this part we each have one of instacarts competitors that the above needs to be done for.  My competitor is Doordash.  So the above needs to be done focusing on doordash.
