Your blog post should cover a peer-reviewed empirical research article about a cognitive psychology topic we covered in the class. An empirical research article is one that presents original data (hint: look for a method section with a description of participants, and a results section). In your blog post, you should explain the research in a way that is understandable to those who do not have a background in psychology. This could be a specific population (e.g., government officials, advertising agencies, parents, athletes, health care professionals, students, etc.), or it could just be the general population. Either way, the blog post should be interesting and useful to the intended audience. Avoid writing something that reads like a textbook.
Your selected research article must be from a peer-reviewed journal. The following are lists of peer-reviewed journals that contain articles relevant to our course:

- Format: The document should be formatted like a blog post. Include the title of your post, centered at the top of the document (no need for a title page). One line below the title, include “by (your name)”. The documents should be single-spaced with a return inserted between each paragraph. Graphics or multimedia should be inserted in the appropriate place within the text with captions below. Make sure to appropriately cite your research article and any other sources. This means including the authors’ names and the year of publication in the body of the post, and an APA reference list at the end of your post. If you include any links, please put them in parentheses within the document or insert an active hyperlink. The post should be 500-800 words, not including the reference list.
