Assignment Two
Due: 11:59pm Friday 30th May (Week 13)

Development of Solution.
Students will be required to develop a solution approach, scope, assessment and validation based on the business problem and requirements produced in Assignment One.
Objective
Based on the requirements elicited, analysed, documented and communicated in Assignment One, teams will present a solution document. In carrying out this task, the relevant BABOK principles must be clearly applied and cited.
The relevant parts of BABOK to be applied are as follows:
1) Enterprise Analysis Tasks 5.3, 5.4 and 5.5
2) Solution Assessment and Validation Tasks 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 and 7.4
Students may work in teams of 3 or 4 to complete this assignment. While you are encouraged to retain the same team membership as for Assignment One, teams may change their membership up until the end of Week 11, after which they will be set. That is, it is permissible to work with a different team to that formed for Assignment One, if desired. All members will receive the same mark for this assignment, and any team disputes must be settled within the team. All team members must be clearly identified on the assignment including student number, name, tutorial and tutor’s name.
Ensure that you identify all members in your group on the coversheet. Assignments must be submitted through the unit’s Blackboard Assessment page by one member of the group only.

Explanation of the application of relevant sections of the BABOK Guide to the issue:
a. In the submitted assignment, students will indicate the knowledge area and task that they are addressing.
b. Students will give a brief explanation of the technique that they are employing including its appropriateness to the situation.
c. It is recognised that not every task in the knowledge areas can be addressed in each case.
