There are all kinds of different activities that teachers and parents can use to boost brain development in a child. This week, go onto the Internet and find an activity that is designed to boost brain development. Describe the activity, how the activity engages the brain (i.e., short term memory, long term memory, making connections, critical thinking skills, etc.), and what age group the activity is for. Note: This is a child development class, so only discuss activities for children up to the age of 17. Be sure to provide the full citation in APA format where you found your information.

Then discuss the following:

  1. How is this activity related to cross cultural child rearing and educational practices?
  2. How can this activity can be adjusted for children with developmental differences?

If you have an opportunity to try out the activity with a child, please share your experience.
