Introduction
The comparative economic system is a sub-division of the economy that focuses on the relative study of various economic systems such as the mixed economy, capitalism, feudalism, and socialism. The comparative economic system is widely accepted across the world and scholars have research on each topic (Carson, 2017)). The primary goals of any economic system are to come up with solutions to economic issues affecting the nation. It also aims at ensuring that available resources are equally distributed to all citizens and satisfying their needs. Each economy has to decide what or how to produce and its distribution. This paper answers questions based on government formation in the new colony.
Government and Constitution
I understand that forming the government is not easy; coming up with a particular structure is what most leaders have failed. In my case, the government structure will comprise of a range of legal frameworks and political organizations that will control the relationship between citizens and the government. The institution will have the power to make decisions that intend to improve economic conditions. The government will represent all citizens and will help the nation to meet the common goals.
My government structure will comprise of the executive, legislature and judiciary. The executive will comprise of the president and prime minister; the legislature will consist of members of the assembly while judiciary has Supreme Court that will help in solving various cases. The economic authority will be distributed equally among these organs. I believe that having such a structure will help Mars socialism concept to develop. Since socialism based on the idea that society is responsible for different so factors of production.
It is essential for individuals in the government to understand how this concept works. The government structure will play a critical role in making sure that all economic issues affecting this nation are solved within no time. The top government officials will democratically be elected. In this sense participants who understand the economy will be elected since citizens will have the urge of seeing the economy developing.
I will make sure that the government’s primary emphasis is on the following natural resources, entrepreneurship, labor, and capital goods. It can be noted that these factors are essential to individuals who understand. The power of my government will vary based on different economic factors. These factors are human and natural resources that will play an imperative role in supporting foreign policy. My government on Mars will encourage people to work hard to meet their economic goals and creating a sustainable economy.
The government will come up with rules that will govern the nation and one of the rules will be; the nation should be divided into any social class. The government in charge of all production of goods and distribution. I believe these rules will help in eliminating unnecessary competition and ensuring that each citizen can access service without any struggle. Another rule would be that there is no private property ownership. The reason for this concept is that everyone will work hard and reap the same hence creating equality in the society. Consequently, each citizen will get equal earning as well as other needs.
I think meeting Mars economic goals and objectives I will have to adopt a centralized government. This form of government would be emphasized on the exertion of power or authority to the executives. For socialism method to be effective, the government should centralize all its resources and services. In this case, the government will know what has been distributed and which region is marginalized. The central government will also promote unity among citizens and enhancing the relationship between people and government.
I adopt a centralized government because it will help in the development of a clear chain of command. This is because each person will know whom to report to and what is expected. Citizens will know where to address their issues. Alternatively, the executives will obey an apparent delegation authority hence motivated to meet the national goals. It would be easy for the government to make decisions that benefit the nations as well as consulting citizens. The form of government encourages everyone to focus on the vision. The communication is clear as such issues can be easily solved.
I would focus on an informal institution that consists of unwritten and shared rules. I like this type of institution because it helps in structuring and assigning different job position. Working in different positions enable individuals to interact and share their experience. I understand there is no way socialism can help the government to meet the national goals without the adoption of informal institutions. The informal institutions are created automatically, and the primary goal is to meet citizen’s satisfaction. Other factors that I will consider when forming the constitution is religion and other social factors. For the save of equality, the constitution has to be all-inclusive.
Conclusion
In a nutshell, my government structure would be all-inclusive and would promote citizens to meet their economic goals. For the nation to prosper, it is crucial to adopt a useful measure that would help in economic development. By embracing socialism, the available resources are equally distributed to all citizens and satisfying their needs.
