After completion of this unit students are expected to be able to: a) Understand the principle of operation and design of a wide range of digital electronic circuits.b) Design digital circuits utilizing Digital Number Theory, Boolean algebra, Logic Theorems and Rules, Karnaugh Maps, advanced minimization techniques, and State Machine design.c) Be able to undertake digital circuit design and laboratory work, and to successfully present their electronic designs in written report form.
