Over the last couple of weeks, we have read about accounting and decision making. We are going to apply these concepts to your idea from week 2. Provide a cost/benefit analysis for your idea. Make sure to mention any sunk or opportunity costs involved in the implementation of this program as well as the long-term increase in projected profitability. You are permitted to use fictional numbers as far as costs go, but you should provide research to support any opportunity costs or projected profitability. You can find industry averages for various program costs and projected benefits.

This does not need to be written as a formal research paper, but all research provided does need to be cited in APA format. You may write in the first person because you are presenting your own ideas. You do not need to provide an abstract, but you do need an APA formatted title page and reference page. Your paper should be a minimum of 2 pages (approx. 700 words) not including the title and reference.


PROJECT Proposal:

Over the last few weeks we have talked about ways to motivate employees in an organization. My organization is Beehive Cake Center, now For my next assignment I will implement policies that protect and motivate employees. To include, implementation of probational period for new employees will allow for observation and learning period of the operations. As in terms of cost/benefit analysis on these policies, it will allow for the organization to not take huge lost. During the period employees will not be fully covered in terms of health care. After the 90 days when employees get a feel for the job is when their full benefits will kick in.

Other policies will include incentives for highest sales person ensuring a competitiveness amongst coworkers. I will also include policies that protect employees and management such as discrimination laws and fair wages. Ensuring fair wages for all with potential of moving up within the company.

Risk associated with implementation of probation period can include employees decline in performance after 90-day period. Also some risk associated with incentive for highest salesman can include  rivalry and conflict amongst coworkers.
