Papers should include the following sections:
1. Progress report/log: Be Specific! Include dates, titles, number of hours. What did you watch? When (date)? For how long? (Should be approx. 10 hours of watching and research.)

2. Your ongoing media experience: What have you encountered? What have you liked or disliked? How are your expectations about this particular video genre, viewer/listener participation, method of storytelling, etc. being met (or challenged)? Whats the most surprising thing so far? What issues has the experience raised for you?
3. How do you relate the experience to your research ( at least 2 popular and at least 2 academic sources about your video genre) Did these sources contradict or support your ideas about the videos? Did reading these sources change anything you thought about the videos? Do you find yourself seeing the videos differently? Make sure to include paraphrased information or quotes from the four sources and cite each with Chicago Author/Date citations. Use parenthetical citations within your paper and works cited page.
