Critically analyse climate change and health policies. To articulate sustainable strategies to benefit (human) health in terms of Environmental Management practices.

This module will develop an understanding of the environmental impacts in relation to health. Climate change is considered to be a major health threat of the 21st century and this module will outline the implications for health from an array of perspectives which are embedded within the concept of Environmental Management. Students will be introduced to the basic principles in environmental management, current global policies linked to climate change and the term sustainable development.
