Question:

It will require students to utilise evidence-based practice to develop skills so to exercise professional judgement, identify ongoing professional development needs and reflect upon advanced radiographic practice and the interdisciplinary nature of medical radiations and develop advanced radiographic patient management skills. Students will be able to develop personal and professional confidence by developing skills to differentiate between different research methods, evaluate the veracity of research claims, understand current trends in medical imaging research and draw implications for evidence based health care.
Learning Outcomes

Critically review and evaluate health and scientific research;
Demonstrate an understanding of the means of communicating health and scientific research outcomes;
Critically differentiate between a qualitative and quantitative research design and justify their application within clinical medical imaging;
Demonstrate an understanding of the moral, ethical and legal responsibilities of researchers and potential impacts on society;
Analyse current and future advanced radiographic practice trends and ongoing professional developments within medical radiation sciences; and
Synthesise current interdisciplinary practices within the health sector with their knowledge and experience of working in an interdisciplinary health context.

Role And Responsibility
The student undertakes a cooperative venture along with the unit convener, but ultimately each student must take responsibility for successful completion of the literature review.

Choose a topic that you are familiar with, however, this is subject to approval by the unit convener. Once approved there will be no second opportunity provided.
