Diversity manifests in organizations in many different ways, including: race, sexuality, culture, values, religion, gender.  Diversity has not always been standard practice or an embraced concept in organizations. The evolution of organizational norms, social progression and generational differences are shifting the paradigm of organizational culture and standards. Technological advancements and broader channels of communication are changing perceptions. Diversity is important because it promotes personal growth, a healthier society and helps to remove stereotypes.
Prepare a PowerPoint presentation of 5 -7 slides identifying 5 types of diversity in the workplace. Please be sure to validate your opinions and ideas with citations and references in APA format. Provide a minimum of 2-3 references.
