This is your final assignment for this course. The Disability Dispatch is a news article of between 700 and 800-words that addresses a concern about the representation of people with disabilities in entertainment or news media. It will require you to follow basic news writing guidelines, collect data and conduct at least two interviews. How to write a news article will be discussed in Module#2, writing exercises will be completed throughout the semester and more guidelines are available in the Resources page in the Final Paper Assignment folder in Canvas.
Here is how your Dispatch will be graded:
