Prompt from my teacher: For your final assignment for this course, you are required to submit a digital portfolio of your major work this semester. This portfolio will contain five or six distinct documents, which you can submit to the “Portfolio Assignment” dropbox as one collected file or five to six individual files. Your portfolio should include:
Digital copies of all four formal essays – you may make revisions if you like. Revisions are not required but reflect positively on your final participation grade if you demonstrate an engagement with your writing.
“Best in Show” – a digital copy of the writing from this semester of which you are most proud. This could be one of your essays (in which case you do not need to submit two copies), a reading response, or any other writing from this course.
A brief reflective essay (2-3 pages) in which you introduce your portfolio contents, discuss why you are proud of your “Best in Show” writing, and consider how your writing has or has not changed over the course of this semester. (It might be helpful to think of this essay as a kind of “autobiography of a writer.”)
PS: I will upload all the 4 essays and some reading response that I handed in, read them and revise one of them and mention it in this 2-3 page auto biography, 1 paragraph may cover it. This paper is kind like a self conclusion of writing, after you read the 4 essays, introduce them briefly, and talk about why you are proud of your best writing( choose one from the 4 essays), should longer than introducing the 4 essays, but not too long, then focus on discussing how your writing skill has been improved, such the way of analyzing books between lines, understanding content in a more thoughtful way, and the change in how you read books and look at the world.
