EE 1500-Word paper. Envision as the power system of the future. Read Description.

Electricity has shaped our world.  The evolution of the uses and delivery of electricity would far exceed the expectations of the great scientists who helped create it.  That evolution will continue well past out lifetimes.

For your final exam, write a 1000 to 1500-word paper on what you envision as the power system of the future.  Select the energy resource(s) that will power your system and explain why you chose them.  Your paper should discuss the changes to the current systems used and why these changes will make your system better than the current system.  Though options are unlimited, you must justify your decisions.   Reference at least three sources in addition to your text and format according to APA standards, 6th edition, including title and reference pages.

• It is important to your final grade that you support your views. While your opinions are interesting, they are not sufficient for a discussion for this type of paper. The academic connections are crucial.
• The paper should follow APA 6th edition guidelines for all formatting:

  • 12 point Times New Roman
  • Double-spaced
• The paper should have the following sections:
• • Introduction: Tell me what you are going to tell me in the body of the paper. This is a synopsis of the point of the paper. Your thesis statement resides here.
  • Body of the paper: This is the place where you pull your research together and develop your points.
  • Conclusion: Tell me what you have told me. This is your last opportunity to make your point, answer your question, or argue a perspective.
• Don’t forget the importance of the transitions between paragraphs and sections. I should be able to read the last sentence of one paragraph and the first sentence of the next paragraph and see the connection. HINT: This is a good way to test whether you have effective transitions.
• Grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and paragraph structure matter; spend time editing your paper. This means that you need to at least give yourself a three-day cooling off period between finishing the paper and editing the paper. This really does make a difference in what you catch and correct.
