Reread Polonius’s advice to Laertes Act 1, Scene 3, lines 65-86. Then, read Rudyard Kipling’s poem “If.” Compare the advice between these two poems, and write the following:
- Paragraph 1: What similarities do you see? (Don’t forget to name both texts and authors on the first mention. After that, refer to authors by their last names.)
- Paragraph 2: What differences?
- Paragraph 3: Which speech do you think offers better, more useful guidance?
