1) Does Facebook (their affiliates) and other social media outlets, including Google, Snapchat, and Twitter have the obligation/corporate responsibility to protect your personal information?
2) What are your thoughts on user agreements? For example, if you agree to certain terms and stipulations that are clearly defined and are not in violation of your rights, is it okay for companies to disclosure your search & data usage?
3) Should more CEOs and executives of private corporations worry more about their bottom line (how much money they could make) or its customers privacy rights? What if you were in their position? In short, many of the social media platforms we today would not exist for free if our general user data was released to advertisers. Is the trade-off worth it?
4) Do you believe government has a direct responsibility to address and/or interfere with private conglomerates business practices of the likes of Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc.? If they do interfere, it proves to be socialistic business environment, as a compared to capitalism? Is there a happy medium?
5) Research the Internet and look up 3 primary corporate social responsibilities of all companies great and small? Do they work in todays society or does culture, geography, and equal rights for all play a role? For example, using renewalable resources in the US is option where as in other places around the world is mandatory in some capacity?
6) If you were a Congressman assigned to the hearings, what would you ask Mr. Zuckerberg? Would you focus on one specific caveat or a general question open-ended question?
