Overview
Responding to sources is an important part of studying a subject matter. Responses help you to process information; they help you identify areas you are interested in, as well as point out areas where you lack understanding and may need more study.

Include a discussion on all aspects of the content, progression of story, quality of footage, soundtrack, etc. If you have the ability to watch the film outside of the classroom, that’s fine, but make sure you keep the classroom active so that you will log hours.

his film is based on a true story. Things to think about:

What does the film achieve? Is your curiosity piqued enough to further explore the topic? Do you want to know how much of it really happened and how much was dramatized or are you willing to accept it at face value? Cite specific scenes from throughout the film.

Take notes while watching the documentary. Respond to your notes.

300 word minimum response that includes a discussion that covers the entire documentary (beginning, middle, and end)
100 word minimum response to a classmate
Do not submit a summary of the film (we all saw the film so we know what happens).
